The wedding season is upon us and it is all about looking and feeling glamorous. It doesn’t matter if you are getting married yourself or attending the wedding of a close relative. Weddings make people happy because it gives them a great opportunity to look their best completely from head to toe.
If you are planning to attend any wedding, plan your makeup look using these helpful tips. But make sure to moisturize your skin and apply face primer before applying any makeup.
Tip #1 – Wet the Brush before Applying Makeup Highlighter
If you want to give yourself a subtle, soft, skin-line glow, make sure to wet your brush using a face mist or setting spray before picking up the highlighter. Use this wet brush to apply the powder highlighter on the high points of your face and cheekbones to get that candle-lit glow. Make sure to use a light hand, or you may end up moving the base of your makeup.
Tip #2 – Line the Lips for Longer Lasting Lipstick
One of the best parts about attending a wedding is getting to eat tons of scrumptious foods. We all know that it’s mostly oily, which is our lipstick’s worst enemy. If you wish to avoid that weird situation when your lipstick disappears from the center of the lips and you end up with a weirdly lined outer lip, line your lips and fill them up with a lip liner before applying lipstick on top. If you don’t have a lip liner matching your lipstick, you can use a nude lip liner as well. This will help make the lipstick last longer.
Tip #3: Apply Mascara & Highlighter for a Complete Eye Look
If you are running late or are lazy and don’t have enough time to do your eye makeup before a wedding function, you can do a complete eye look just by applying your highlight all over the eyelids and lots of mascara to the lashes. Mascara opens up the eyes and makes them look bigger and brighter. The highlighter will bring a sparkle to the entire look.
